A deposit of $200.00 is required to reserve the Kingfisher or the Hat Trick Charters for the dates below. The balance of $__________ is due at the time of
the trip. The recommended tip for the mate is an additional 15% of the trip rate.
1. Deposit: Please forward the deposit and a signed copy of this agreement to the address below within 7 days. A deposit of $200.00 per trip is
required. Checks should be made payable to Stoney's Kingfishers. Credit card deposits can be made through our online payment processor Paypal. The party has
the right to cancel any trip up to two weeks prior to the scheduled date with full refund of the deposit. The deposit will be forfeited the trip is canceled
with less than two weeks notice.
2. Departure Time: Charters will depart rain or shine at a predetermined time. Times may change slightly for tide and weather conditions.
3. Termination of Trip:
A. It is understood that the Captain shall be in charge of the vessel at all times. Conduct on the part of the party that, in the Captain's opinion may
jeopardize the safety of the vessel or personnel on board, shall be cause for the Captain to terminate the charter and return to the dock. In the event the
charter is terminated in this manner, the full charter price shall nevertheless be due.
B. In the event the Captain, at his discretion, cancels a trip due to inclement weather, the Captain will attempt to reschedule an alternate day. If this is
impossible he will return the deposit.
C. The Captain reserves the right to cancel any trip in the event of a mechanical failure or illness of the crew or weather. The fee for the trip will be
pro-rated based on the hours of the trip actually completed.
D. If the party does not arrive within one hour after the reserved time, the trip will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.
4. Alcohol: Beer in limited quantities is permitted on board. Absolutely no drugs are allowed on board at any time; please advise
members of your party of this matter prior to the trip.
5. Tackle: The very best tackle is provided. Any outfit lost overboard or destroyed will be charged to the party.
6. Food: The party is responsible for supplying their own food and beverage.
7. Photographs: Stoney's may use photographs taken on charters for advertising.
8. Rates: $660.00 up to six people and $75.00 per person over six for up to 8 hours. $560.00 for 6 people up to 5 hours.
9. Fuel Surcharge: Due to aberrant increases in fule prices, a surcharge of $50.00 will be assessed on trips where the one way distance is greater than 15 NM and an additional surcharge of up to $50.00 may be added if the price of fuel exceeds $.25 per gallon.
